WELCOME

A message from our President...

Dear NABA Members, Corporate Sponsors, and Perspective Members:

The mission of  The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) is to promote and foster moral and ethical standards, to encourage and recognize academic and professional achievement, to cultivate a sense of professional and civic responsibility and service, to promote the study of accounting, finance and business related subjects, and to provide scholarships for students.  The Jacksonville, FL Professional Chapter was chartered and united with the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. in March, 2006.  The University of North Florida was the first student chapter chartered, under Jacksonville’s leadership, in September, 2007.  These chapters are two of nearly 200 NABA professional and student chapters across the United States.

NABA’s theme for fiscal year 2008 - 2009 is “40 Years, One NABA.”  Everyone has a vital role to ensure its members and corporate partners continue to capitalize on the benefits of establishing a relationship with an organization committed to excellence and diversity.  Now is the time to be or become a member or corporate sponsor and actively participate and support NABA.

I invite you to consider the mission of NABA and to make a personal commitment to the organization for yourself, for your company and for others.  Lift as you climb…  Join NABA today.

Sincerely,

Theresa Cardoza Rasheed
Jacksonville Chapter President
